Protest with Veins

Silkscreen and digital ‘veins’ of color pull together the layered imagery, materials, and techniques in each print. The veins are reminiscent of life, the pulse of life, and the necessary pressure of power and resistance. The connecting veins of color also represent the connectivity that brought us here. The global ease of travel that brought a horrible pandemic to every corner of the earth and the digital connectivity that instantly shared a video of horror that united the world in BLM protests.
